I’m pleased to share that Lyrasis will be partnering with the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) to pilot RAiD (Research Activity Identifier – a new persistent identifier for research projects) with US organizations over the next two years. Our goal is to establish a US RAiD service and determine a sustainable business model for US organizations interested in using RAiD. Please see the SDSC’s announcement as well as the announcement from Lyrasis for more details.
We have published a US RAiD Pilot web page on the Lyrasis website and will be updating the page with more information and resources as we move forward.
