Survey on use of identifiers

Dear Colleagues,

We are writing to you with an invitation to participate in a survey on the use of identifiers (e.g. ISBN, DOI, ORCID) in books, articles and other related information materials. The survey is meant for librarians, publishers and vendors who work in one or more of these subject areas: physics, astronomy, mathematics, computer science. The purpose is to understand how identifiers are used and what problems exist with their use. This study has been reviewed and exempted by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Chicago.

The results of the survey will be presented at a future Physics Astronomy Math (PAM) Division session at the SLA annual conference.
The survey is available here: http://chicagobooth.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eaDF9TQRJPmFwot

If you are interested in participating please submit survey responses by July 16th .

Responses are completely anonymous.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns about the research, please contact Elizabeth Edwards, Principal Investigator, at eee.uchicago.edu
