Results not the same between ROR API and ror.org

Do you know why when I use the ROR API, I don’t get the same results from the same query with ror.org?

For example : “Google Inc.”

  • ROR API : {“number_of_results”:0,“items”:}
  • ror.org : 148 organizations matched

Arthur, the short answer is that queries at the ror.org website use the ROR API underneath. But there is more than one way to do this query. Also, we are close to launch an updated API version that improves the default results, you can see that at https://dev.ror.org/search?query=google+inc for your example.
