Has anyone come across anything more about using ORCiD for instruments and facilities?
The possibility of this came up in conversation at the RDA event a few weeks ago, but it wasn’t elaborated on. Looking about, I see there was a working group set up to discuss this in 2017, but I haven’t been able to find anything about what happened regarding this.

Hi and thanks for asking! I’m happy to say that we have added a new section for this information – Research Resources – in our most recent API (3.0). It can only be populated by ORCID member organizations, not by users, and a handful of members have started to use it (the figures below are as of August 16).
