I wanted to let everyone know that applications are now open for the NISO Plus 2023 scholarship program. It’s open to anyone working in information (including graduate students) who feels that their voice/perspective is under- or unrepresented in our community. The program is currently in its third year, with a total of 40 participants during that time, half from outside of the US. We are keen to continue expanding participation both geographically and to include those working in infrastructure organizations, vendors, etc.
Successful applicants get free registration for the NISO Plus 2023 conference, as well as free attendance at our educational webinars for three years, and lots of networking and professional development opportunities.
Applications are open through December 6 and you can find more information on the NISO Plus blog. Anything you can do to help spread the word would be much appreciated - and, of course, please also consider applying yourself!
