We are excited to share that Iratxe Puebla will be joining DataCite on June 1 as Make Data Count Director. In this new role, she’ll work to develop open data metrics and support their adoption. Meaningful data metrics allow us to give credit to the data producers, facilitate broader and new uses of research data and enable building evidence on the value of data sharing. With increased adoption of research data sharing and developments in data infrastructure, the time is now to build evidence around the use and reuse of research data.
