Let’s not forget the Industry/business sector and the commercial use of PIDs.
I am a company producing scientific instruments and/or software. For a marketing analysis, I would like to trace the current use of our products (instrument/software-PID) across scientific disciplines and geographical areas by analyzing article and data publications (publication-PID/data-PID) specifically produced using our products (instrument/software-PID)
