Hi all! Wanted to introduce myself. I recently started as Technical Community Manager for ROR. I’m based at Crossref and am devoted full-time to expanding ROR adoption and supporting ROR adopters. I have a background in libraries and digital humanities: I ran the institutional repository at Virginia Tech, and I worked at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media for four years. Last year I was Community Lead for The COVID Tracking Project at The Atlantic.
I’m a big fan of open access, open data, and good clean standardized metadata, and I’m just thrilled to be working with the great people at Crossref, DataCite, and CDL who are supporting ROR. Really looking forward to connecting with the wider community of people who understand the importance of ROR and PIDs, too.
