We are investigating the use of DUO (Data Use Ontology) to explicitly state permitted uses of research data when there isn’t a “simple” open licence e.g. CC BY.
Would it be reasonable to use this in field 16 Rights? Something like this:
16 Rights: population origins/ancestry research
16.a rightsURI: http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/DUO_0000011
16.b rightsIdentifier: DUO_0000011
16.c rightsIdentifierScheme: DUO
16.d schemeURI: http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/duo.owl
