Some of you may have heard this before but we are going to be running the Ambassador’s Competition for PIDapalooza again this year.
The Competition funds a place at PIDapalooza up to a value €1,000 including registration, travel and accommodation. The FREYA team will enter a proposal for a session from an ambassador and should the proposal be accepted, the winner will present their material during the session, representing the FREYA project as well as themselves and their employer as appropriate.
Last year we received several strong entries and we hope to have the same this year reflecting how the ambassador’s work is supporting and promoting the use of PIDs within their communities and aligns to FREYA’s aims of building a connected PID infrastructure. @nicolekearney was the competition winner and presented on PIDs in out of copyright literature and she has since written a blog about it.
We will announce more details of the competition soon but in the meantime, start thinking about potential topics for a session.
