Hi, sorry, this is probably the wrong place to ask, but I don’t know where is the right place to ask, and am seeking some guidance. I have a support query about the DataCite REST API (I can’t get the JSON “xml” attribute to work) and the documentation says to email support@datacite.org, but the automated reply tells you to contact your consortium lead to get a response within 24 hours. Our consortium lead says to contact inveniosoftware, who develop the DataCiteAPI. I’ve left a query on their discord.com channel but have received no reply. So, really, my question is whether the support@datacite.org email is still valid? Without a “consortium” aspect to my query, the email says I will have to wait 5-8 days. If I’m to wait that long, it would be good to know that there actually is someone at the end of that email address.

Hi Nicholas,
Thank you for sharing this. The support@datacite.org email is very much in use. As you are part of the British Library Consortium, they should be your first point of contact for questions. However, in this case I think I was able to provide you with the information you needed to get up and running via our support channel. Please continue the conversation in that thread.
Thank you!
Mary
