In memory of our friend and colleague Jonathan Clark, who passed away suddenly last month, we are hosting a public webinar, “Persistently Evolving: What’s New in the World of Persistent Identifiers,” on September 17 at 11:00 am EDT (US/Canada). Moderator Todd Carpenter will lead the discussion featuring community leaders (and PID experts) John Chodacki, Kora Korzec, and Titusz Pan.
Our intention was to invite Jonathan—a NISO board and Working Group member—to speak on this panel, which is part of the NISO Plus 2026 Global/Online program. To honor his contributions to the PID community, both as a NISO volunteer and as Managing Agent of the DOI Foundation, we’re making this session free and available to everyone interested in this topic.
